The Royal Wedding - Grouville Parish Church

The occasion of the Royal Wedding on Friday 29 April offers a wonderful opportunity for you to come to Grouville Parish Church to enjoy watching the event on the recently installed 3m screen.

We will start at 10.00am to catch all of the excitement as Prince William’s and Catherine’s guests arrive at Westminster Abbey, and of course the Bride’s arrival, and then watch the actual wedding service from 11.00am – we may even sing along with the hymns if we know them.

The church will be decorated as if for a wedding – so come dressed up in wedding finery if you want. We will have some bubbly and wedding cake ready for the end of the service.

Teas, coffees and soft drinks will be available throughout but we also invite you to bring a picnic for after the service when we will move outside to sit at tables and share a ‘wedding breakfast’ (inside a marquee if the weather is poor).
